Firework Manufacture Suspended in China

Due to extreme hot weather the Chinese Government has suspended production of fireworks and firecrackers in Hunan, Jiangxi and Guangxi until August 27th, temputures have scored over 40 degrees in these provinces at the moment making it very dangerous.

Manufacturers are asking officials to review their decision with the hope to change the 30 day stoppage to 10.

this could give a lot of problems to the uk wholesaler and mean a shortage during the november season.

This is the instant the NYPD staged a Massive Fourth of July fireworks show 2 days early, when destroying 2268KG of illegal fireworks.

NYPD officers administrated the controlled explosion on the massive haul of fireworks, from sparklers to pro fireworks.

Police had seized cases value over £15,000 earlier than the Fourth of July vacation weekend following a city-wide crackdown in the big apple.

Mayor Michael Bloomberg warned that fireworks within the hands of amateurs is very dangerous and illegal.

Mayor Bloomberg said: ‘We’ve worked to aggressively crackdown on the utilization of illegal fireworks and also the transporting of illegal fireworks into town.’

The footage shows a spectacular minute and a half-long pyrotechnics show because the mountain of fireworks are lit at the NYPD firing vary within the Bronx.

‘These enforcement measures seem to be working, as seizures of fireworks are down once more this year compared to last year.

‘We encourage everybody to celebrate safely, and have a cheerful Fourth of July.’
Mayor Bloomberg urged those celebrating the 4th of July in the big apple to instead watch the city’s spectacular Macy’s fireworks show over the Hudson River.
The 25-minute show is claimed to use fifty five times additional fireworks than the common show within the country.

NYPD distroy illegal fireworks

After a very successfully Peterborough big bang, i found it funny how empty our 1.1 store was. not surprising really when we used more large shells and salutes that night than most firework display do in over 2 years lol.

so we have been sourcing out new supplies and restocked about 10x 12″ shells,  32x 8″ shells and 8x 10″ shells. it many sound a lot but we seem to be using quite a bit lately but this is still not enough, we are still looking around to get some more 12″ shells and the mother of shells some 16″ as there still a lot in the uk but they need re-cadding to make them legal this should help the firework industry as more and more large shells are becoming harder and harder to get in stock.

With november coming we have 2 displays where there is enough space to fire 16″ shells in fact most of the our stock will be gone again so if you have any that you would like to sell off, please get in touch.
